Concrete Foundation

The installation of the concrete foundation was a success . Roger burnt off some of the brush. We are expecting a lot of rain this week, so we probably way make much head way. The next step is to waterproof the foundation, then move some dirt and prep for the slab

Rain, Rain, Rain

It rained most of the day today. We did pass inspection on the foundation walls, but we were not able to pour the concrete due to the bad weather. As of now the rain has stopped. We are scheduled to pour concrete on Friday. After this weekend we will be ready for Roger to move some more dirt around

Form work

Today Jim and Bill finished forming the walls for the foundation. After the inspection tomorrow morning (and if the weather holds out)we will begin pouring the walls

Concrete pour begins

We passed inspection on the footings. The ground wire is in place, the rebar is prepared for the walls. Tomorrow we begin standing up the wood forms for the walls.

Lower Portion of the Drive

Roger has the lower portion of the drive almost complete, and the upper portion is cleared.   This week he worked mostly on the actual house site and we made our objective of starting the foundation for Father's Day (and Ruthie's birthday).   Thanks guys.

Roger has the foundation site prepared for the footings. Mosseller Construction begins digging the footings on Friday.
