We have selected LP smartsiding for the Hallmark Lodge.It is a phenomenal product. It comes in longer lengths than other products. It has a more defined wood profile. The warranty is much better. It has a 50/5 parts/labor warranty. In the gables we have installed a staggered edge shake. The walls are finished inch 6" lap siding.
As you can tell, Jonathan is a real value-add in this process. But I keep telling him that at my age, I don't need a 50 year guarantee.
